Dr. Rosell Jenkins
Author of Cultivating Joy: Sheltering Within During Life’s Storms, is a licensed psychologist, coach, and consultant with a passion for helping individuals and families break unhealthy generational patterns and build intentional legacies of wellness. As co-founder of Total Generational Wellness with Dr. Courtney Swisher, she guides participants in exploring how family history and patterns influence every area of life — from health and relationships to finances and spirituality.
Dr. Jenkins brings decades of experience as a speaker, trainer, and clinician, known for her ability to make complex topics accessible and actionable. She provides tools that empower people to embrace healing, cultivate resilience, and create lives marked by balance, joy, and generational strength.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and her M.S. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Virginia Tech, with advanced training at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Courtney Swisher
Licensed school psychologist, licensed psychologist, and co-founder of Total Generational Wellness, Dr. Swisher has extensive experience supporting children, families, and schools. She has seen firsthand how early experiences and family patterns shape development and well-being across the lifespan.
Dr. Swisher’s work emphasizes helping families understand the impact of generational cycles and equipping them with strategies to foster resilience, emotional health, and thriving relationships. Known for her ability to connect with people of all ages and put them at ease, Dr. Swisher brings both compassion and practical expertise to guiding families in creating healthier legacies.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Texas A&M University. Dr. Swisher has dedicated her career to helping children and families navigate challenges, strengthen connections, and build foundations for lasting wellness.
